Life and Tech

A quote from the article "The secret of youth discovered" under the Highblood section of the Philippine Daily Inquirer. It was written by Tranquilino V. Quinto Jr.

"As I look around me day by day, I am troubled to see people ostensibly withering away when they should be enjoying the prime of their lives. So early the flame of their dreams and aspirations seems to be flickering off. Instead of stoking the embers that make it burn blazing and bright, they have left it to be extinguished by the destroyer of life: despair. Instead of getting up and moving on after a fall, they have chosen to stay down. And instead of learning from their mistakes, they have checked out."

Fulfilling your dreams or at least die trying. Pick yourself up after every mistake and move on. Do not fall into helplessness and hopelessness. This could very well be in perfect for our trying times - and this not pointing towards politics alone. I mean, all of us live day to day with dreams for something better. There is always that vision, that urge to strive to better ourselves, to better the conditions of our community, and if you are truly nonself serving, to the better of our country. To make a difference in the world, leave a mark, be remembered.
Oh well, that's life.

Anyway, to all you techies out there, here's a funny video about an Intel processor in a Mac. It came up in one forum that a friend sent through email about the recent news of Windows XP now running on a Mac. I think its pretty stupid though to introduce vulnerabilities into something that is already pretty good. And in the end, it was just a means to earn profit.
