Thesis Update

Our thesis is 80% done. Actually, the thesis objective has already been achieved. What we are doing now is additional features our adviser asked us to do. We are so happy that is has finally come to this. After weeks and weeks and week and weeks of overnights and not being able to take a bath and classes and classes and classes missed and hours and hours and hours spent staring in front of the hell of a Cathode Ray Tube, I have finally felt that this could be done! This will be done! This is going to be finished! And I become calm and contented.

During the first general assembly of UP ACM Student Chapter, our adviser, Prof Rommel Feria, asked us to present our thesis during the CS 199 Thesis Symposium, which will be held on the 16th and 17th of March, 2005. Consider us both lucky and priviledged to be among the few groups Sir Feria seems to hold in high esteem. Unfortunately for me, I would also be having an IT Forum on the 16th so I might miss a presentation once. More than just an attendance of UP third and fourth years students plus DCS faculty and other UP faculty, our adviser asked some Ateneo faculty to join in the symposium by bringing in their best thesis projects!

The pressure is on but it would be worth the rewards that we, as a group, would reap.

I can't wait till this thesis gets done!!!!! It was worth all the hard work!
